![]() > I had two PC before "switcher" six years ago, and since I have two Macs, including this one! No loss of time or making head, I know why I am and remain on the Mac: my work and composed before the computer! > What I like most, initially, is a "philosophy" Apple just arrived home, I plug my external drive (with my previous sessions), my sound card and I run the CD installation of Digital Performer, in less than 5 minutes top chrono I write again! (By the way I learned here that even the silent update 5.13 Necessary for the new OS X 10.5.2, otherwise only works in the south DP). It is not my first Mac, but lately, due to financire, I had my station I Spar Dual G5 Apple OS but I missed > I possde this machine since 29 fvrier 08. I haven't had a single issue with it event though its not produced no more I love it and apple still offers great support on it! You should look into getting this mac book. This was almost a deal breaker for me but I really wanted a macbook so I went with this one. In particular I record with M-Audio FW410 which would be useless on this laptop. The downside of this laptop by apple is no firewire and still no pcmcia or express card to add insult to injury, so it's a non-starter for any kind of music application. So if you want it you will have to probably check eBay but you should be able to get one for really cheap. If those features are important to you, the 13-inch 2.4 GHz MacBook Pro Is worth the purchase, but im pretty sure they have discontinued this version. You'll also miss out on some features, including a backlit keyboard, memory card slot and FireWire port. The white plastic covor stays cooler than the aluminum on the MacBook Pro laptops, but it also shows dirt and smudges more easily which can make it look really old fast just from the scuffs it can get. Battery life and overall performance are better than the previous version, and you can play games I 3d like modern warcraft!. comes in only one configuration for 2010, has a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2 GB of RAM and a 250 GB hard drive. I owned the 13 inch version and it was really cheap. Of course the bigger the screen the more you will have to pay to own it. ![]() The Macbook 2.4 Ghz comes with a few different screen sizes as well. If you need a mac that is within your budget this is the one you need. ![]()
